About the role

  • Responsible for achieving corporate targets with internationally operating OEMs
  • Accountability for results (volume, market share, premium positioning, revenue, profit)
  • Independently conduct annual and project negotiations for the region
  • Establish, maintain and strengthen customer relationships beyond purchasing and planning (marketing, production and sales planning)
  • Monitor ongoing business; results control and take corrective actions; budget preparation & strategic planning
  • Global coordination (new projects, annual negotiations)
  • Close coordination with Technical Key Account Management
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities and market influences
  • Coordinate with specialist departments (logistics, production) in Milan and regional offices
  • Support credit management

Requirements

  • Degree in business or engineering, or equivalent vocational qualification
  • Good command of English (Level B); Italian desirable
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, IT security and SAP
  • Professional experience in sales
  • Strong product and/or industry knowledge
  • Experience in customer retention and relationship management
  • Confident presence and ability to present and defend own viewpoint
  • Strong financial and cost awareness
  • Determination and result orientation
  • Strategic thinking and customer-focused working style
