About the role
- Responsible for achieving corporate targets with internationally operating OEMs
- Accountability for results (volume, market share, premium positioning, revenue, profit)
- Independently conduct annual and project negotiations for the region
- Establish, maintain and strengthen customer relationships beyond purchasing and planning (marketing, production and sales planning)
- Monitor ongoing business; results control and take corrective actions; budget preparation & strategic planning
- Global coordination (new projects, annual negotiations)
- Close coordination with Technical Key Account Management
- Identify and evaluate opportunities and market influences
- Coordinate with specialist departments (logistics, production) in Milan and regional offices
- Support credit management
Requirements
- Degree in business or engineering, or equivalent vocational qualification
- Good command of English (Level B); Italian desirable
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, IT security and SAP
- Professional experience in sales
- Strong product and/or industry knowledge
- Experience in customer retention and relationship management
- Confident presence and ability to present and defend own viewpoint
- Strong financial and cost awareness
- Determination and result orientation
- Strategic thinking and customer-focused working style
