About the role

  • Play a key role in building a best in class finance function by strengthening processes, systems, and ways of working.**
  • Own the quality, accuracy, and integrity of accounting data, ensuring strong audit readiness and regulatory compliance.**
  • Drive confidence in financial systems and reporting for the CFO and senior leadership team.**
  • Oversee and document day-to-day operational finance processes, including invoicing, collections, payables, and payroll.**
  • Lead efficient weekly and monthly reporting, including a robust month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.**
  • Ensure timely completion of tax, statutory, and financial reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • - Newly qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA), with 3+ years audit experience.**
  • - Hands-on experience using Sage Intacct.**
  • - Strong understanding of the Financial Controller role and accountability across core finance operations and reporting.**
  • - Confident relationship-builder with the ability to partner beyond Finance and influence a range of stakeholders.**
  • - Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.**
  • - Solid knowledge of statutory reporting requirements for legal entities with experience of taking end to end ownership.
