About the role
- Develop long-term signal and communications strategies aligned with operational and organizational objectives.
- Plan and synchronize communications capabilities supporting command and control (C2) operations.
- Translate operational requirements into technical communications architectures.
- Plan and integrate enterprise and tactical communication systems, including voice, data, satellite, and wireless networks.
- Ensure interoperability between multiple communication platforms, networks, and mission systems.
- Support integration of new technologies into existing communication infrastructure.
- Develop communications plans and annexes supporting operational planning processes.
- Coordinate with operational, intelligence, and logistics planners to ensure communications capabilities support mission execution.
- Participate in operational planning teams and strategic planning initiatives.
Requirements
- Secret
- DoD 8570.01 M compliance for IAT Level III
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a combatant command
- Extensive familiarity with FM 5-0, FM 6-0, JP 5-0 and other relevant publications as it pertains to understanding military orders.
- Bachelor’s Degree (desired)
