About the role
- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and modules in alignment with business needs.
- Implement new features and enhancements, ensuring alignment with best practices.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define requirements and propose solutions.
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications and systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Perform testing and debugging for ServiceNow applications to ensure reliability and functionality.
- Provide ongoing support and training for end-users and IT staff.
- Document development processes, code changes, and system configurations for future reference.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to develop and customize ServiceNow applications.
- Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and Asset Management.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow development best practices, including update sets and application scope.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
