Develop and implement the company's franchise expansion and development strategies, including market planning, incentives, and growth targets.
Oversee the entire franchise sales process, set sales metrics, and work to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute effective lead generation strategies for franchisee recruitment.
Manage the pipeline of qualified candidates and build strong relationships with new and existing franchisees to support their growth plans.
Work with executive leadership to align franchise development with overall business objectives, provide guidance on growth, and serve as an active member of the executive leadership team.
Ensure franchise operations and development activities comply with all relevant franchise laws and regulations.
Collaborate with the legal team to ensure annual registration deadlines are met and FDD offering is updated annually.
Track key performance metrics, analyze data, and provide regular reports on development progress to leadership.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree is typically required, with a CFE (Certified Franchise Executive) designation being a plus.
Significant experience in franchise development, particularly with start-ups/emerging brands, with a proven track record of franchise growth and a deep understanding of franchise laws and the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).
Proven ability to lead and manage a development team.
Experience in closing single and multi-unit franchise deals.
Strong strategic planning and market research skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills to build relationships and represent the company.
