About the role
- Lead a team of actuarial and finance analysts.
- Deliver accurate, timely, and actionable management information and analysis to stakeholders across the Phoenix Life Division.
- Operate effectively under pressure with strong planning and organization skills.
- Engage with stakeholders effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Proven people leadership experience, including managing, developing, and supporting a sizeable team (ideally 8–10 direct reports).
- Strong delivery capability with a track record of producing accurate financials under tight deadlines in high pressure financial reporting environments.
- Robust planning and resource management skills, including ownership of production plans and oversight of complex processes through to delivery.
- Experience working in solvency reporting and a good knowledge of the workings of a solvency II balance sheet is desirable.
- A relevant professional background (e.g., actuarial qualification, or equivalent finance/actuarial leadership experience); experience in FP&A is also desirable.
