About the role

  • Provide immediate technical assistance to end users.
  • Troubleshoot software and set up workstations.
  • Manage access control and maintain conference room equipment.
  • Act as the primary contact for onsite staff regarding technical issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems related to Windows, Microsoft 365, VPN access, SharePoint, and enterprise applications.
  • Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of support requests using the ticketing system (e.g. ServiceNow).
  • Perform physical setup, configuration, and deployment of laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot hardware peripherals like printers, scanners, and docking stations.
  • Assist the central Infrastructure team with basic onsite tasks.

Requirements

  • Technical support or help desk experience is considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Windows 11.
  • Experience with Active Directory (password resets, group memberships) and Microsoft 365.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • A 'service-first' mentality, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users clearly.
