About the role
- Provide immediate technical assistance to end users.
- Troubleshoot software and set up workstations.
- Manage access control and maintain conference room equipment.
- Act as the primary contact for onsite staff regarding technical issues.
- Diagnose and resolve problems related to Windows, Microsoft 365, VPN access, SharePoint, and enterprise applications.
- Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of support requests using the ticketing system (e.g. ServiceNow).
- Perform physical setup, configuration, and deployment of laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware peripherals like printers, scanners, and docking stations.
- Assist the central Infrastructure team with basic onsite tasks.
Requirements
- Technical support or help desk experience is considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of Windows 11.
- Experience with Active Directory (password resets, group memberships) and Microsoft 365.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Exceptional communication skills.
- A 'service-first' mentality, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users clearly.
