About the role

  • Develop, deploy & improve processes, tools, and equipment within global manufacturing systems
  • Initiate and lead process development activities
  • Ensure adherence to processes for product introductions, qualifications, and release
  • Accountable for Process Requirements based on Product Specifications from I&D and Manufacturing Requirements
  • Accountable for design changes in Philips factories and at suppliers driven by PDLM governed projects
  • Responsible for resources, planning, quality, and cost (including CAPEX) for industrialization projects

Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in a related Engineering field (Industrial, Mechanical, Supply Chain, Packaging Engineering or similar)
  • 5+ years of experience operating in a complex manufacturing environment
  • Excellent understanding of complex manufacturing processes and related equipment
  • Deep understanding of Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, and Testability (DFM & DFMAT)
  • Strong understanding of R&D development processes and global Supply Chain operations processes
  • Strong understanding of plastics, plastic part development and injection molding
  • Demonstrated success in resolving complex issues with cross-functional teams
  • Robust Project Management skills (PMP preferred)
  • Lean Mindset (Greenbelt preferred)
