About the role
- Serve as a technical escalation point during system implementations, supporting performance, hardware validation, and resolution of complex issues before customer go-live.
- Partner with internal teams and third-party integrators to ensure servers, storage, networking, and racks are built, cabled, and configured precisely to Philips specifications.
- Troubleshoot hardware and infrastructure issues at the component level to ensure system reliability.
- Validate large, complex radiology solution designs from a hardware and infrastructure perspective, ensuring readiness across data center environments.
- Travel to customer data centers as needed to inspect delivered systems, confirm installation quality, and support final technical readiness prior to handoff.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare information technology or a related technical field
- enterprise infrastructure expertise (networking, virtualization, server hardware, Windows domains)
- system performance analysis and monitoring (for example, SolarWinds)
- troubleshooting of hardware and data center components
- knowledge of DICOM is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
