About the role

  • Achieve sales targets for orders, revenue and margin
  • Maintain all sales-relevant data in the CRM system (e.g., customers, projects, planning) to ensure the sales process is traceable
  • Communicate all market information relevant to sales
  • Maintain and strengthen long-term customer relationships
  • Create and maintain (Key) Account plans
  • Conduct needs analyses, prepare proposals and purchase contracts, and support system handovers
  • Sell solutions (equipment, service offerings, etc.) incorporating medical, technical and commercial know-how (team selling)
  • Commercially leverage the entire installed base within the area of responsibility in cooperation with the respective partners
  • Accompany and support customer visits; resolve customer complaints in cooperation with service and specialist departments
  • Drive cross-selling activities across the offering within the Philips Healthcare portfolio
  • Develop mid-term strategies to increase market share

Requirements

  • Completed degree in industrial engineering, medical technology, computer science, healthcare management or a related field, plus at least 5 years of relevant experience in sales of medical systems and/or healthcare IT solutions
  • Excellent understanding of processes and challenges in healthcare and hospital operations
  • Understanding of modern digitalization solutions and technological partnerships
  • Excellent communication skills, especially at executive level
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Very good conceptual skills and strategic thinking
  • High initiative as well as experience leading and motivating account teams
  • High resilience, sense of responsibility and ability to self-motivate
  • Driver’s license and regional mobility
  • Fluent German and English
