About the role

  • Responsibility for the HealthSystems portfolio in Hospital & Ambulatory Patient Monitoring (H&AM)
  • Build and strengthen customer relationships in coordination with other roles/functions (regular customer interaction) in line with the jointly defined sales strategy
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities (opportunities) and qualify them in coordination with the Key Account Manager and District Leader
  • Accurate representation of the sales funnel in the customer relationship management tool (SFDC)
  • Prepare customer-oriented proposals (configuration and pricing) involving the Customer Service Specialist and, if necessary, other specialists
  • Present proposals and conduct negotiations (together as a team)
  • Renew and expand existing customer relationships with the goal of concluding long-term (framework) agreements
  • Organize product demonstrations and reference visits
  • Regularly monitor competitors and industry developments and provide effective feedback to the Business Unit and Healthcare Informatics, covering equipment/products, software, customer service and other services and solutions
  • Order intake & sales of equipment/products, software and customer service
  • Order intake & sales of solutions
  • Data quality in SFDC & forecast accuracy
  • Customer satisfaction (NPS) – response rate & score
  • Share of Wallet (SoW)
  • Price realization for equipment/products and customer service

Requirements

  • Proven success in sales – particularly in identifying, managing and closing complex deals
  • Experience in the medical technology, healthcare IT or healthcare industry
  • Strong competence in solution-oriented selling
  • Very good understanding of clinical workflows and solid knowledge of the healthcare system
  • Ability to interact confidently and persuasively with different stakeholders
  • High customer orientation, empathy and excellent self-organization
  • Clear result orientation and willingness to take personal responsibility
  • Confident presence in needs-based consulting at all decision-making levels
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills – internally and externally
  • Proficient with MS Office and high IT affinity
  • Minimum of a completed bachelor’s degree (e.g. Medical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, etc.)
  • Very good German and English language skills
  • Willingness to travel approx. 80% within Northern Germany
