About the role
- Provide telephone support to customers facing technical issues
- Handle customer requests in a solutions-oriented and timely manner
- Escalate complex incidents to second-level support
- Assist with outages and malfunctions of PCs, laptops, printers and other technical devices
- Resolve software issues (Windows, Linux, application software) and troubleshoot client/server network environments
- Clearly and understandably explain the situation and recommended next steps
Requirements
- Completed technical vocational training in the IT field
- Good knowledge of the Windows environment, including hardware, software and network systems
- Experience with TCP/IP networking
- Strong technical aptitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Independent, responsible and solution-oriented working style
- Excellent written and spoken German
