About the role
- Prepare consolidated financial statements.
- Create and document accounting policy in accordance with GAAP accounting standards.
- Analyze and adopt new accounting standards as applicable to our business.
- Own Ad-Hoc or complex areas of accounting.
- Support M&A activity from technical accounting perspective and assist with book PPA preparation.
- Work with FP&A on budgeting/forecasting items, assessing impact from the accounting perspective.
- Provide guidance to team on accounting treatment.
- Assist team with month-end close as needed.
Requirements
- 6–8+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance related field
- Active CPA or equivalent license
- Deep understanding of accounting standards and experience in real-world business applications
- Financial reporting experience, public company or SEC filings
- Bonus: Interest in crypto however professional experience is not required.
