Security Engineer

• Own critical security infrastructure/services for the company (Key Management for wallet infrastructure)
• Perform regular security assessments on new projects, infrastructure and code.
• Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in code, systems and networks through manual testing, automated tools, threat modeling and threat intelligence.
• Keep up to date with the latest offensive security techniques, application security threats, and best practices in the blockchain space, and recommend improvements to security posture
• Write detailed reports of your findings and present them to management and technical teams, and help to prevent real-world attacks.

• Kubernetes Ownership: Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.
• Infrastructure Automation: Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Pulumi) to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and resource utilization.

• Own and evolve the signing path for every transaction in Phantom.
• Build and harden authentication, unlocking, biometrics, and account access flows across web and mobile.
• Ship passkeys (WebAuthn) and MFA improvements with a strong security/usability balance.
• Own onboarding and key lifecycle flows: key generation/derivation, seed phrase flows, seedless registration, hardware wallet pairing.
• Own sensitive key export/import experiences and related safety rails.
• Write and maintain high-signal, non-flaky tests (unit/integration/e2e) for critical paths; ensure safe rollouts via monitoring and staged releases.

Software Engineer, Frontend / Full Stack – Identity Platform

Product Designer

• Lead design for a product team from conception to launch in partnership with product managers, engineers, marketing, support, and executive leadership
• Define new product flows and incorporate them into our design system
• Take complex, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and easy to use for our users across desktop and mobile
• Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of Phantom, crypto wallets, and web3

Staff Product Designer – Trading

SDET

• Test automation platform for Money Movement: end-to-end tests, API contract tests, integration test suites covering funding rails, card transactions, KYC flows, and Cash account operations.
• CI/CD quality gates: design, implement, and maintain test pipelines that run on every PR and block regressions from reaching production.
• Failure mode coverage: model the real failure modes — duplicate charges, partial KYC completions, webhook replay, idempotency violations, provider outages — and build tests that catch them before users do.
• Performance and load testing: validate that payment flows hold up under peak load; identify latency regressions before they hit p95 in production.
• Test data and environment infrastructure: own the tooling that makes tests repeatable, isolated, and fast.
• Observability for test quality: track test coverage, flakiness rates, bug escape rates, and regression detection latency as real metrics with real owners.

SDET – Money Movement

• Own test coverage for their squad's features end-to-end (unit, integration, E2E)
• Build and maintain automated test suites for new and existing functionality
• Run manual and exploratory testing on features before release
• Write reliable, maintainable automated tests (UI, API, regression)
• Contribute to the shared test automation framework
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure they run reliably on every PR/deploy
• Define and document QA standards within their squad
• Review PRs for testability and test coverage gaps
• Flag flaky tests and own resolution
• Partner with product engineers to shift testing left (writing tests alongside features, not after)
• Work with PM/design to clarify acceptance criteria before dev begins
• Surface quality risks and blockers early in the sprint
