About the role

  • Care and support for children and adolescents with multiple severe disabilities in cooperation with educational staff and nursing professionals (m/f/d)
  • Planning, implementation and execution of individualized support, assistance and development plans
  • Planning, implementation, support and supervision of leisure activities such as local walks, zoo or theater visits
  • Planning, development, guidance, consultation and professional oversight of educational staff for carrying out the pedagogical process and operations across the entire pedagogy area
  • Liaison with therapists, teachers, payers/insurance providers, other institutions, and active involvement of family members

Requirements

  • Degree in social pedagogy, educational sciences or equivalent
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in the pedagogical care of patients
  • Reliability, a conscientious working style, composure and patience when working with children and adolescents requiring intensive care
  • Willingness and ability to cooperate with supervisors, parents, therapists and colleagues
  • Strong communication skills
  • Motivation and curiosity to embrace new approaches and learn new skills
