About the role

  • Develop and refine strategic plans for the Ig business, including market expansion and portfolio optimization
  • Lead forecasting and scenario planning for 3-year planning horizon
  • Lead strategic initiatives that support revenue and IBT growth targets
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decisions
  • Manage and evolve strategic partnerships, including the Octapharma licensing agreement
  • Explore new business models and opportunities beyond current licensing timelines (e.g., post-2028 planning)
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Account Management, and Access teams to ensure strategic alignment
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders across Specialty Care, Commercial Operations, and Global Strategy to drive execution
  • Lead periodic performance reviews to senior management as well as lead operating plans for Ig portfolio and providing input to inform life cycle planning and long-range forecasting (LRF)
  • Lead quarterly and biweekly leadership team meetings, financial and performance updates, and strategic offsites
  • Oversee development of strategic decks, pricing adjustment messaging, and communications planning
  • Proactively monitor competitive developments and develop and implement dissemination plan to ensure appropriate information is shared with the right stakeholders at the right time (incl. portfolio marketing team, sales, account management, leadership, etc.)
  • Scenario plan for competitive event and access contract outcomes and evolve strategies to address
  • Identify and track performance of KPIs to identify areas for improvement and optimization or refinement of brand goals (in collaboration with portfolio marketing lead, sales and account management)
  • Partner with IIS to generate insights that inform strategic direction
  • Lead forecasting, scenario planning, and business case development for new initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years in Strategy, Business Development, or Commercial Excellence roles within pharma or healthcare
  • Market research experience or significant engagement with market research in numerous projects
  • Experience in specialty care, infusion pharmacy, or rare disease markets preferred
  • Proven ability to proactively lead the thinking - connect, communicate, influence and persuade
  • Successful track record of delivering commercial growth and driving performance through teams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Financial and analytical acumen with ability to translate data into strategic action
  • Strong strategic skills, with the ability to translate strategy and analysis to a tactical, executable level
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills and ability to effectively lead and influence a cross functional/indirect team
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize/multi-task effectively
  • Strong project management skills
  • Pharmaceutical marketing experience and strong knowledge of the US healthcare market required
  • Demonstrated expertise and success in developing and executing strategic and tactical plans
  • Experience managing partnerships and navigating complex organizational structures
