About the role

  • Define and execute the long-term strategic roadmap for the LNNA UK division, partnering with executive leadership to set corporate objectives
  • Lead annual strategic planning processes, including market assessments and scenario analysis
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of legal technology trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, and regulatory changes to generate actionable insights
  • Identify and assess new business opportunities, markets, and technologies and drive inorganic growth strategies including partnerships, alliances, and M&A evaluations
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to deliver on strategic priorities such as AI implementation, platform modernization, and customer experience innovation
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Technology, Finance, and Corporate Development teams and prepare/present strategic recommendations to Senior Leadership and RELX corporate executives

Requirements

  • 10+ years in senior-level management, corporate strategy, business development or consulting, ideally within the legal market or legal enterprise technology sector
  • Proven ability to lead with a customer driven mindset, consistently aligning strategy, innovation, and execution to deliver exceptional value and experiences
  • Strong executive presence, thought leadership, cross-functional influence, change agent, collaborative mindset, and ethical leadership
  • Exceptional relationship-building, Strategic Planning & Execution, Market and Competitive Intelligence, Data-Driven decision making
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (e.g., JD, MBA) preferred
  • Experience preparing and presenting strategic recommendations to senior leadership and corporate executives
  • Experience evaluating M&A, partnerships, and inorganic growth opportunities
  • Familiarity with AI implementation, platform modernization, and customer experience transformation
