About the role
- Lead a Centralized Global Team
- Manage and coach a globally distributed team of master data specialists and managers
- Foster a collaborative team culture and clear standard work practices
- Lead data preparation, cleansing, loading, and migration activities
- Serve as the primary owner for all planning master data elements
- Establish and enforce global data standards, governance policies, and change control processes
- Standardize and document master data maintenance processes across regions and subcontractors
- Act as a bridge between business and technology teams
- Champion change management efforts related to planning master data
- Continuously seek opportunities to streamline data maintenance and enhance data quality metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field with 6+ years of experience in supply chain planning, master data management, or a similar function, including significant experience in a leadership or team lead role in a global/multi-region context.
- MBA/MS with 5+ years of experience is acceptable.
- In-depth understanding of supply chain planning processes and the critical role of master data in driving planning outcomes.
- Familiarity with advanced planning systems (such as Kinaxis Maestro or SAP IBP)
- Experience with data governance, data quality management, and master data standardization across multiple sites or regions is highly desirable.
- Proven team leadership and people management experience.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort working at the intersection of business processes and technology.
- Fluency in English required.
