About the role
- Supports the assigned Asset Medical Affairs Lead(s) to drive alignment and coordination of goals, priorities, and efforts across Medical Affairs categories and asset teams
- Supports change management initiatives as required by organizational and process updates
- Supports assigned Asset area activities/initiatives such as Ad Boards, medical congresses, and other projects
- Tracking key project deliverables, overview of project schedules/timelines, budgets, and plans for project quality, resources, communications
- Serves as subject matter expert for applicable/assigned processes and provides operational support and/or guidance to teams as needed
- Drives the creation/implementation of simple medical processes to support strategy and execution of Medical Affairs data generation/communication activities
- Develops and maintains business relationships with key colleagues to ensure ongoing alignment and efficiency
- Drives agendas, builds presentations, and supports facilitation of Medical Team meetings
- Develops and leads tracking and analysis of performance/activity measurements (metrics) as appropriate
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical industry or related fields
- Advanced degree (e.g., masters) highly preferred with 6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry or related fields
- Prior experience in working in Medical Affairs organization is essential
- Experience in other medical/clinical functions desirable
- Prior experience in Project Management, Business Operations
- Understanding and adherence to Project Management methodologies
- Demonstrated results in creating and managing complex projects
- Ability to effectively collaborate across multiple functions including Medical, Medical Information, Corporate Communications, Digital, and Commercial
- Ability to manage resources, programs, and multiple projects
- Proven ability to facilitate open discussion and debate among key stakeholders
