About the role

  • Supports the assigned Asset Medical Affairs Lead(s) to drive alignment and coordination of goals, priorities, and efforts across Medical Affairs categories and asset teams
  • Supports change management initiatives as required by organizational and process updates
  • Supports assigned Asset area activities/initiatives such as Ad Boards, medical congresses, and other projects
  • Tracking key project deliverables, overview of project schedules/timelines, budgets, and plans for project quality, resources, communications
  • Serves as subject matter expert for applicable/assigned processes and provides operational support and/or guidance to teams as needed
  • Drives the creation/implementation of simple medical processes to support strategy and execution of Medical Affairs data generation/communication activities
  • Develops and maintains business relationships with key colleagues to ensure ongoing alignment and efficiency
  • Drives agendas, builds presentations, and supports facilitation of Medical Team meetings
  • Develops and leads tracking and analysis of performance/activity measurements (metrics) as appropriate

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical industry or related fields
  • Advanced degree (e.g., masters) highly preferred with 6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry or related fields
  • Prior experience in working in Medical Affairs organization is essential
  • Experience in other medical/clinical functions desirable
  • Prior experience in Project Management, Business Operations
  • Understanding and adherence to Project Management methodologies
  • Demonstrated results in creating and managing complex projects
  • Ability to effectively collaborate across multiple functions including Medical, Medical Information, Corporate Communications, Digital, and Commercial
  • Ability to manage resources, programs, and multiple projects
  • Proven ability to facilitate open discussion and debate among key stakeholders
