About the role
- Provide overall Business Operational Excellence management overseeing a team of Operational Excellence colleagues.
- Support US Medical Affairs Field teams.
- Lead execution aligned with strategic goals to ensure deliverables are on track and within budget.
- Align with key stakeholders, influence in a matrix environment, and communicate effectively.
- Guide Operational Excellence colleagues to oversee and/or lead all aspects of developing the Asset or Field Operating Plan budget.
- Drive the portfolio of activities to ensure successful execution to plan and delivery of business imperatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree (e.g., masters) highly preferred.
- 8+ years with bachelor’s degree; 7+ with masters degree relevant experience required.
- >8 years of experience in Project Management, Business Operations.
- Prior experience in Medical Affairs is highly preferred.
- >8 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry or related fields.
- Previous people management experience preferred.
- Understanding and adherence to Project Management methodologies.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently with shown flexibility and organizational awareness.
- Ability to create & oversee complex projects, including budget management & fiscal awareness.
- Ability to effectively collaborate across multiple functions including Medical (Customer Facing and HQ), Medical Information, People Experience, Corporate Communications, Digital, and Commercial.
- Strong Decision-Making skills.
- Strong strategic thinking skills and ability to lead/strategic development.
- Proven track record for implementation of projects of strategic importance, on time and within budget.
