About the role

  • Field-based medical colleague providing therapeutic area/product expertise for Oncology focused on integrated customers (National Payers, Regional Payers, Specialty Pharmacy Providers)
  • Educate customers on clinical and economic impact of Pfizer Oncology medicines using real-world data analyses, pharmacoeconomic analyses, outcomes evaluations, and medical presentations
  • Plan and execute Oncology Medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers and develop Medical account plans
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues across Medical Affairs, HEOR, KAMs, and others to align and execute Medical objectives
  • Develop and execute customer-specific projects, collaborations, strategic medical partnerships, and non-interventional studies to advance quality of care and patient outcomes
  • Provide medical support for HIT initiatives, analyze workflows, and facilitate development of clinical content and e-data collection expertise
  • Serve on internal teams to create tools, resources, and educational materials; represent Pfizer Oncology Medical Affairs in professional associations
  • Respond to unsolicited medical questions and provide objective, scientifically sound medical information regarding Pfizer Oncology products

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health science required
  • PharmD, PhD, or equivalent terminal doctoral degree preferred
  • Relevant experience required: 8+ years with bachelor’s degree; 7+ years with master’s degree; 5+ years with terminal degree
  • Experience in Clinical, formulary, and/or other management experience; Managed Care, pharmaceutical industry, and/or Quality Improvement; Data Analytics and/or HEOR activities
  • Significant experience interacting with payers and other organized customers
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage conflict constructively
  • Leadership experience and ability to influence and collaborate with peers
  • Strong analytic skills and methodological skills (study design, data analysis, interpretation)
  • Ability to travel frequently (flexibility to potentially travel 40 – 50% or 60-80% of time as stated) and operate Pfizer company car with valid US Driver’s License
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States (this position requires permanent work authorization in the United States)
