About the role
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Establish short-term and long-term sales objectives in alignment with the company’s goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Evaluate existing Agents/Distribution network, performance manage the network if required.
- Onboard new agents/distributors, provide product training and support with client visits.
- Identify opportunities to upsell with the other GMM Pfaudler product lines.
- As the region grows to Recruit, train, and mentor regional sales managers.
- Monitor individual and team performance.
- Oversee sales operations, including CRM systems, reporting, and forecasting.
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Optimize pricing strategies and sales processes to maximize profitability.
Requirements
- Engineering background, MBA preferred but not essential.
- Proven track record of success in a senior sales role, with 7+ years of experience, including 3+ years in a leadership position.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
- In-depth knowledge of the industry and market trends.
