About the role
- Manage and represent clients in litigation cases, from pre-trial to post-trial.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
- Participate in depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Collaborate closely with senior attorneys to prepare for trials.
- Provide clients with clear, strategic advice on legal matters.
- Handle general liability (auto, premises liability, construction defect) and complex liability matters.
Requirements
- Must be licensed to practice law in California
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited law school
- 6+ years of experience in relevant legal experience
- Experience in general liability (auto, premises liability, construction defect)
- Experience in all aspects of litigation: investigation, research, analysis, discovery and motions
- Experience taking percipient/party/expert depositions
- Experience representing clients in mediations and court hearings
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
- Must have the ability to work Pacific Standard Time work schedule
