About the role
- Develop and implement litigation strategies focused on protecting and advancing father's rights in Family Law matters.
- Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions, hearings, trials, and appeals.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare persuasive arguments to strengthen case positions.
- Draft, review, and finalize pleadings, motions, trial briefs, and settlement agreements.
- Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, settlement negotiations, and high-stakes courtroom trials.
- Collaborate with clients, witnesses, experts, and colleagues to build strong, evidence-based cases.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to junior attorneys and paralegals, fostering professional growth and development.
- Stay current with California Family Law statutes, evolving case law, and trial practices.
- Balance a robust caseload while maintaining a strong client-centered approach.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active member of the California State Bar, in good standing.
- 8-10+ years of Family Law trial experience, with a proven track record of courtroom success.
- Recognized achievements in trial advocacy, particularly in Family Law litigation.
- Exceptional oral and written advocacy skills, with the ability to craft and deliver compelling arguments.
- Strong leadership qualities with demonstrated experience mentoring legal staff.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- High ethical standards and a strong commitment to client advocacy.
