About the role
- Responsible for managing global sourcing activities for Petco’s owned-brand products
- Identifies and executes cost savings opportunities and negotiates with vendors
- Manages execution of SKU set-ups and onboarding of suppliers
- Develops and provides options on product costs to product development and design staff
- Manages vendor improvement and matrix optimization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
- 3 years of progressive work experience in global sourcing or sourcing related roles
- Strong analytical skills and sense of curiosity
- High sense of urgency
- Polished influencing and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
