About the role

  • Provide technical support for the development and implementation of customer applications and company products.
  • Perform on-site improvements, maintenance and support for new and existing systems.
  • Implement new product configurations and software updates; install network devices and/or hardware components and peripherals.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair technical issues.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of company and third-party products used in customers' applications and systems.

Requirements

  • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, a technical field, or a related discipline
  • More than 10 years of experience in chromatography
  • Initial professional experience in technical customer service for software-based analytical systems
  • Ideally trained on the PerkinElmer chromatography portfolio
  • Excellent spoken and written German and English
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office suite
  • Valid Class B driver's license and willingness to travel within western Germany (up to 90%)
