About the role
- Provide technical support for the development and implementation of customer applications and company products.
- Perform on-site improvements, maintenance and support for new and existing systems.
- Implement new product configurations and software updates; install network devices and/or hardware components and peripherals.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair technical issues.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of company and third-party products used in customers' applications and systems.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, a technical field, or a related discipline
- More than 10 years of experience in chromatography
- Initial professional experience in technical customer service for software-based analytical systems
- Ideally trained on the PerkinElmer chromatography portfolio
- Excellent spoken and written German and English
- Good knowledge of the MS Office suite
- Valid Class B driver's license and willingness to travel within western Germany (up to 90%)
