About the role
- Translate business and finance requirements into clear solution designs for Perk’s spend management platform.
- Partner with Account Executives to deliver high-impact product demonstrations that highlight Perk’s value proposition.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with accounting best practices, financial controls, and the customer’s operational reality.
- Guide clients through the solution lifecycle, focusing on design, integration, and adoption.
- Support discussions around ERP integrations (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics) and how Perk fits into the customer’s IT stack.
- Bridge the gap between a prospect's business needs and the technical implementation requirements.
- Act as a conduit between the field and our Product organization, sharing customer feedback to help shape our roadmap.
- Stay up-to-date on the spend management industry and the evolving ERP landscape to remain a trusted advisor to our clients.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of successful experience in Sales Engineering, Solution Consulting, or Implementation for B2B SaaS solutions.
- A solid understanding of accounting processes (AP/AR), financial controls, and how finance teams operate. A degree or background in Finance/Accounting is a significant plus.
- Familiarity with ERP ecosystems (SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft) and a baseline understanding of integration methods like APIs and SFTP.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical finance stakeholders.
- Native or bilingual fluency in German and professional proficiency in English are required.
