About the role
- Oversee end-to-end case management quality across the Advisory team (e.g. Performance management, probations, behavioural cases, grievances, attendance, documentation, and tracking).
- Act as an escalation point for complex or high-risk ER issues.
- Ensure consistency and guarantee compliance of case handling across locations and functions with internal policies, employment law, and documentation standards.
- Identify patterns and business risk, proactively handling or escalating these to drive early intervention.
- Accountable for case reporting dashboards, trends, and ER data integrity, and using these to provide insights for workforce planning, performance cycles, and manager development priorities.
- Facilitate the enablement of managers on handling ER cases, specifically with performance management, early flags, difficult conversations, and case steps.
- Ensure your team of People Advisors are maintaining high standards.
- Enable your team to triage incoming cases, prioritise workload, and allocate cases based on complexity and Advisor capacity.
- Coach and mentor People Advisors, and provide specialist case knowledge to wider people team and management.
- You’re accountable for the team maintaining high data accuracy across case logs, documents, and system tracking.
- Ensure cases progress at pace, reducing delays and the associated business cost.
- Contribute to policy reviews and improvements based on case patterns.
- Work closely with People Partners to ensure People Team alignment.
Requirements
- Strong ER expertise and demonstrable case-handling experience across at least two of our biggest locations (UK, Spain, Boston, Chicago)
- Proven ability to coach People Advisors, Leaders, and Managers through sensitive and complex people issues.
- Exceptional policy knowledge and sound judgement.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, and process management.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and triage workload.
- High-quality written communication and analytical skills.
- Experience in a scaling, multi-location environment.
- Experience leading or mentoring others through case management.
- ER training delivery or case quality review exposure.
