About the role
- Preparatory bookkeeping (approx. 70%)
- Support of ongoing bookkeeping (receipt/document management, invoicing, payment transactions)
- Preparation and structured compilation of documents for monthly and annual financial statements (in collaboration with our tax advisor)
- Monitoring and verification of incoming invoices (e.g., payment terms and discount deadlines)
- Communication with external tax advisors and payroll accounting
- Document management and organized filing (e.g., contract and deadline management)
- Support in optimizing and digitizing accounting processes
- Ensuring smooth administrative operations in the finance area
- Office Management (approx. 30%)
- Organization of daily office operations and management of all administrative processes (e.g., coordination of service providers, office supplies management, mail handling)
- Point of contact for employees' administrative concerns
- Support in organizing team events
- Support with the setup and equipping of our new office
Requirements
- Some initial experience in bookkeeping, administration, or office management
- Confident user of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel)
- "Can-do" attitude and the ability to handle tasks independently and see them through to completion
- Responsible and solution-oriented approach with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong attention to detail and careful handling of data
- Excellent organizational skills, time management and prioritization abilities
- Excellent communication skills in German; basic English skills are an advantage
- Team player and proactive supporter of colleagues
- Willingness for continuous development and openness to new tools
- Several years' experience in (preparatory bookkeeping), administration or office management (preferred)
- Qualification as an office administrator, tax clerk, or equivalent (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of accounting and tax fundamentals (preparatory bookkeeping, DATEV, Personio) (preferred)
- Experience working with tax advisors and payroll accounting (preferred)
