About the role
- Responsible for installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining organizational databases.
- Ensure optimal performance, security, and availability of databases.
- Safeguard data integrity and support business continuity.
- Adapt database services to evolving technologies and organizational needs.
- Apply technical skills to follow operational procedures.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Oracle database administration is required.
- Experience with Azure Oracle Database, Managed Instances, and related services
- Familiarity with backup and recovery tools (e.g., Redgate, Veeam, native tools)
- Understanding of database security and compliance standards
- Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator
- Experience supporting Oracle databases
- Experience with Azure database services and cloud-based infrastructure
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Database Administrator Associate) preferred
- Oracle certifications a plus
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred
- Fluent in English
