About the role
- Lead the branch’s efforts to pro-actively meet the client’s financial needs through our sales process
- Manage a sales pipeline, sales activities, achieving assigned goals and surpassing scorecard metrics both individually and as a branch
- Acquire and maintain consumer and business lending product knowledge
- Interpret documents such as safety rules, compliance, consumer and business loan documents
- Support and lead branch staff in servicing clients and building a book of business
- Conduct regular sales meetings and coaching sessions to ensure success
- Monitor branch progress and make necessary adjustments for exceptional results
- Manage day-to-day branch activities and ensure operational soundness
- Conduct performance feedback, including quarterly and annual reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in the financial services industry
- 1-3 years’ experience in a manager role preferred
- Demonstrated previous sales success as an individual and as a leader
- Excellent communication, problem solving, customer service, cross selling and lending skills
- Must be a decision-maker with well-developed interpersonal skills to represent the Bank positively in dealing with clients, employees and the community
- Must possess strong leadership skills, great organizational skills and the ability to motivate and develop the branch team
- Knowledge and prior usage of computers and computer systems
- Must be able to travel (i.e. to Marietta Ohio Training Center) to attend internal education and meetings which in some circumstances could include overnight stay
- Valid Driver’s license. Daily Reliable transportation.
