About the role
- This position leads the branch’s efforts to pro-actively meet the client’s financial needs through our sales process
- Responsible for employee and business development
- Managing a sales pipeline, sales activities, achieving assigned goals and surpassing scorecard metrics
- Must possess an ability to turn service encounters into dialogue-based meetings
- Acquiring, using, and maintaining consumer and business lending product knowledge
- Responsible for interpreting documents such as safety rules, account documents, operating and maintenance instructions, compliance, consumer and business loan documents and procedure manuals
- Supporting and leading branch staff in servicing clients and building a book of business focused on steady growth and consistent profit improvement
- Utilizing Salesforce for client and prospect interactions and sales activities
- Making outside business calls to clients and prospects to acquire and retain business
- Establishing, maintaining and growing working relationships with partners
- Conducting regular sales meetings and well-structured coaching sessions to provide balanced feedback
- Assigning goals, monitoring branch progress and making necessary adjustments to achieve exceptional results
- Managing and overseeing the day-to-day branch activities; developing, retaining and recruiting high quality staff
- Conducting weekly staff meetings to engage the team in the performance of the branch
- Preparing and delivering performance feedback including quarterly and annual reviews, developmental action plans and disciplinary action, as applicable
- Ensuring team compliance with established policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in the financial services industry
- 1-3 years’ experience in a manager role preferred
- Demonstrated previous sales success as an individual and as a leader
- Excellent communication, problem solving, customer service, cross selling and lending skills
- Must be a decision-maker with well-developed interpersonal skills
- Must possess strong leadership skills, great organizational skills and the ability to motivate and develop the branch team
- Must be able to pass background and credit standards to hold NMLS credentials
- Trustworthy and confidential behavior is essential in this role
- Knowledge and prior usage of computers and computer systems
- Must be able to travel (i.e. to Marietta Ohio Training Center) to attend internal education and meetings which in some circumstances could include overnight stay
- Valid Driver’s license
- Daily Reliable transportation
