About the role

  • Review monthly financial data; identify, investigate, and explain variances in revenue and expenses
  • Analyze revenue streams, including new business, terminations, and other drivers impacting performance
  • Contribute with variance analysis and help identify underlying drivers impacting monthly and year to date performance
  • Contribute with validation of the accuracy and completeness of monthly financial reporting, including review of accounting entries
  • Support with preparation of annual budgets in partnership with the Manager, Financial Analysis
  • Assist in updating rolling forecasts and quantifying gaps between budget, forecast, and actuals
  • Calculate monthly, quarterly, and annual internal commissions accurately and on time
  • Ensure compliance with commission plan guidelines
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Professional designations (CPA, CFA, MBA) considered an asset
  • 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or data analytics
  • Analytical skills with the ability to work with large volumes of data
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; experience with Power Query or Power BI is an asset
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
