About the role

  • Will work at a solid, growing company with a structured environment and strong governance, acting as the technical reference for the team and providing direct support to financial management.
  • Be responsible for general and tax accounting, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and legislation.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, trial balances and monthly/annual closings.
  • Perform complex account reconciliations and analyses of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
  • Coordinate ancillary obligations and statutory filings (SPED, ECF, ECD, DCTF, among others).
  • Support internal and external audits by providing evidence and technical clarifications.
  • Propose improvements to processes, internal controls and accounting/tax systems.
  • Act as a technical reference for the team, assisting in resolving queries and critical cases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Ciências Contábeis) with active registration at the CRC (Regional Accounting Council).
  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant.
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian accounting standards (CPC/BR GAAP) and tax procedures.
  • Experience in account closings, complex reconciliations and statutory filings.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting/tax ERPs.
  • Experience with foreign clients or multicultural environments.
  • Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions, including international clients.
  • Analytical ability, organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA in Controllership, Finance or related fields.
  • Experience in medium/large companies or in audit/consulting firms.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and experience implementing process improvements.
