About the role
- Support the organization and production of signature Rolling Stone events and events around key cultural moments
- Work closely with the Senior Director of Events & Programming to design, produce, and manage logistics across the Live Media/Events calendar
- Require project management, attention to detail, organization, writing, and communication skills
- Research venues, artists, and vendors
- Gather, code, and submit invoices
- Create documentation pre- and post-event including onsite activation ideations, talent curation, weekly client updates, and internal/external post-event recap decks
- Act as liaison with vendors to produce event-branded elements
- Manage guest communications, event landing pages, automatic guest communications, guest lists, and post-event surveys
- Consolidate key metrics, databases, and scorecards
- Provide onsite event team support and coordinate event meetings across teams
- Support awards submissions and provide general support to the Senior Director of Events & Programming
- Employees work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely
Requirements
- 2-3 years of relevant experience preferably containing a mix of Marketing, Event Production, or Operations
- Database management
- Ability to juggle multiple requests in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to problem solve
- Ability / Willingness to Travel for events and activations as needed
- Attention to detail, and roll-up-sleeve attitude
- Creativity, big-picture/what’s-next-mentality and love for the culture (huge plus)
