• We are seeking a **Longevity Risk Analyst **to support a growing team responsible for managing increasing volumes of longevity risk.
• This role combines pricing and reinsurance activities, playing a key part in managing insurance risk and supporting strong commercial outcomes.
• The role contributes to the success of the business by supporting the pricing of bulk annuity transactions and the delivery of PIC’s reinsurance strategy, which is central to our risk management approach.
• You will apply your knowledge of defined benefit (DB) pension schemes and/or UK life insurance to deliver high-quality analysis, support decision-making, and help embed efficient pricing processes.
• Conducts scheme specific analysis (including experience analysis) for the purpose of setting longevity and demographic assumptions for the buy-in/buy-out process.
• Contributes to reinsurance quotation analysis to help with feedback (and subsequent negotiation) of longevity reinsurance prices.
• Helps to complete the reinsurance process with particular regard to reconciliation of cashflows.
• Effectively collaborates with other members of the Origination team, Finance, Risk and Investments to understand the impact of proposals on the wider business.
• Assists with risk, compliance and internal audit actions.
• Takes ownership for their own learning and development in both technical (e.g. data analysis and critical judgement) and non-technical (self-insight and relationship management) skills of Origination.
• Keeps informed of industry trends, market developments, regulatory changes in the public and private sectors, as well as best practices related to bulk annuity pension schemes by attending industry seminars, reading and sharing relevant published articles.

Longevity Risk Analyst

Communications

• Design and deliver internal communications which positively influence wider Corporate Affairs activities
• Adapt and flex to the needs of the business to secure buy-in and implement improvements to systems, processes, and technology
• Apply knowledge and insights concerning the corporate affairs activities and how this impacts policyholders
• Support and deputise for the Head of Corporate Affairs in managing internal and corporate communications projects
• Manage the company’s intranet site (Huddle) and content schedule
• Create content and news on Huddle (sharepoint site) including video and written content
• Create scripts, taking points and key messages for internal speakers / content owners
• Manage the monthly Town Hall programme including agendas and support with presentation slides
• Compile and write reports on user engagement with internal communications as needed
• Support the team in the development of internal communications campaigns aligned to the company’s purpose and strategic objectives
• Keep the shared internal communications and employee engagement calendar up to date

Internal Communications Specialist

Manager

• The role requires the ability to effectively collaborate with Risk, Legal, Origination, Finance, and Operations functions within the Company to manage buy-in and buy-out pension portfolios of varying levels of complexity whilst maintaining our excellent levels of customer service to our policyholders.
• The role requires the ability to build effective and collaborative working relationships with external partners to include but not limited to third party providers, advisors, Trustees and their professional advisers to ensure the seamless implementation of new business and deliver excellent customer service to our policyholders.
• To apply technical knowledge and market insights concerning the transitions portfolio and how any fluctuations may impact our policyholders.
• To deliver strong business outcomes relating to systems, processes, and technology improvements and automation as appropriate, which deliver positive outcomes for the Company brand and market reputation as well as for our policyholders on a consistent basis.
• Conducts thorough analysis of PIC insurance contracts, scheme benefit information and supporting data.
• Leads on assigned transition projects from inception to completion ensuring that all objectives are met on time, within budget and in adherence to PIC policies and regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for the development of comprehensive transition plans and strategies, including risk assessment, mitigation plans and continual review against objectives.
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, action logs, risk/issue logs and post-implementation reviews reflective of the intended audience that demonstrate sound analysis and recommendations for enhancing quality control processes
• Effectively collaborates with internal business functions and external providers such as Trustees and advisors to define the project scope, goals, actions and deliverables of buy-in and buy-out pension schemes subject always to enhancing PIC’s brand and reputation and adhering to the PIC values.

Transition Manager

Actuary

• Support the team in the regular assumption setting process across all relevant reporting bases (i.e. SUK best estimate and IFRS)
• Support the team in the regular maintenance of PIC’s policyholder options basis
• Support the team in the regular maintenance and validation of specific internal model calibrations as noted above.
• Take day-to-day ownership of particular assumptions/calibrations and deliver work on an independent basis and to a high quality.
• Collaborate with other qualified actuaries and actuarial students across the Capital Insight & Actuarial department when delivering work.
• Liaise closely with other stakeholders across the wider business as required.
• Lead on the reviews of assumptions and capital calibrations as appropriate.
• Champion process efficiencies and improvements across the team.
• Prepare comprehensive reports reflective of the intended audience that demonstrate sound analysis and recommendations for assumption proposals as part of the PIC’s external reporting and policyholder option bases.

Compliance

• **Role purpose**
• **The Risk and Compliance Department Coordinator will join the Chief Risk Officer’s (CRO) Office and report to the CRO’s Executive Assistant. The role requires the Department Coordinator to:**
• - Provide Administrative Support across the Risk and Compliance Function and act as a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholder queries
• - Support Compliance and Financial Crime activities, including:
• - Assisting the Compliance team with routine monitoring and compliance reviews across PIC including Financial Crime controls.
• - Maintain and manage key compliance systems including the Policy Management System (PolicyHub) and Personal Account Dealing Register.
• - Contribute to PIC’s risk management and regulatory adherence through day-to-day compliance activities.
• **Specific accountabilities assigned to the role of the Department Coordinator within the Risk and Compliance function:**
• **Administrative Support to the CRO office and Risk Senior Leadership Team (SLT)**
• - Provide diary management support for Risk SLT with scheduling of key Risk Function meetings: Booking rooms and ensuring external guests are booked in with reception and liaising with internal teams and EAs across PIC for scheduling internal meetings
• - Prepare agendas, take minutes, and track follow up actions for important Risk function or CRO meetings
• - Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• - Coordinate travel, process expense claims, raise and receipting of purchase orders, as Departmental PO champion.
• **Communication & Stakeholder Management**
• - Be the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to the Risk and Compliance function

Risk and Compliance Co-ordinator

• Provide primary support to the Head of Risk Modelling & Validation maintaining and overseeing PIC’s model risk management framework
• leading updates to the framework to reflect emerging regulations and best practices
• engaging the business on the application of the framework and model risk management practices producing and reporting model risk MI
• leading the validation of the design, development, implementation, testing, documentation, governance, approval and performance of the Internal Model, including its supporting infrastructure
• leading wider model risk management reviews and model deep-dives
• Provide wider support to the Head of Risk Modelling & Validation, the Head of Actuarial Assurance and the Head of Transaction Risk (as applicable), such as:
• reviewing the calculations supporting the annual and monthly reporting metrics, and the weekly solvency updates
• providing 2nd line risk oversight of core areas such as new business pricing, hedging, liquidity and collateral management
• reviewing analyses supporting experience analyses and assumption setting
• leading and reporting on deep dive reviews, e.g. reporting processes, experience analyses, data quality
• leading ad-hoc investigations into emerging issues within areas of responsibility
• Support planning and co-ordination of annual cycle of line 2 review work, within areas of responsibility
• Provide close and effective engagement with Finance, Investment, Operation and the Internal Assurance Functions
• Provide oversight of junior members of the Actuarial Assurance Function, within areas of responsibility
• From time to time, deputise for the Head of Model Risk and Validation, Head of Actuarial Assurance, Head of Transaction Risk and Actuarial Function Holder at management level committee meetings, within areas of responsibility.

Senior Risk Actuary

• Support the preparation of internal monthly reporting and analysis, including information for year-end and half-year reports
• Support the preparation of information for use in hedging, forecasting and planning
• Identify and support the implementation of improvements to the reporting processes
• Ensure controls and reviews are followed, following up with senior team members if there are any issues
• Ensure documentation is kept up to date
• Support the Head of Actuarial Reporting in other ad hoc actuarial investigations and other projects as they arise

Actuarial Analyst

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Support both BAU and project work within the Finance workstream of the Athora integration project
• Support production of all the regulatory reporting produced by the Finance function including:
• - The quarterly and annual Quantitative Reporting Templates (QRTs) for the regulated and group entities;
• - The Solvency and Financial Condition Reports (SFCRs);
• - New group reporting requirements to the Athora Group; and
• - Liquidity reporting
• The role holder will have responsibility for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of regulatory deliverables and supporting regulatory reporting for both PIC and PICG
• Work closely with members of the Finance business teams to support the Athora integration project and shape PIC’s ongoing reporting to Athora
• Support the testing and dry run of the Athora integration and work closely with Change Accounting team as well as external project teams
• Drafting of the 2026 SFCRs, including testing and preparation of the Workiva narrative reporting system
• Analysis of the latest regulatory changes to the SUK framework, including updating of existing methodology documents and models
• Testing of the Tagetik reporting system ensuring preparedness for Q4 and annual reporting
• Review and analysis of quarterly QRTs
• Support the timely preparation and delivery of reporting templates to Athora.
• Provide support on ad hoc tasks, answering queries, contributing to team wide projects and initiatives as needed

• The Event Co-Ordinator will play a vital role in supporting the planning, organising, and delivering high-quality events that achieve organisational objectives while creating memorable experiences for attendees.
• Reporting directly to the Head of Brand and Marketing, this role will support the successful delivery of PIC’s diverse suite of events, including: New business events such as private dinners, conferences, drinks receptions, seminars, and Golf Days.
• Policyholder Days and lunches to strengthen client relationships.
• Thought leadership events showcasing expertise and innovation.
• Internal events including the AGM, All-Staff Christmas Party, and other ad hoc events as required.
• Work with the Events Team to define event objectives and develop innovative concepts aligned with organisational goals.
• Build comprehensive project plans, budgets, and timelines.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement contingency strategies.
• Support with the sourcing of venues, suppliers, and vendors.
• Oversee catering, entertainment, technology, and equipment requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal standards.
• Act as the primary liaison for clients, sponsors, and partners.
• Support with contract negotiation and maintain strong vendor relationships.
