About the role
- What will your day-to-day responsibilities be?
- Design and maintain the “Welcomer” and “Electronic Invoicing” training catalog
- Actions: Create and structure the training offering; develop a comprehensive program on e‑invoicing and client onboarding; update content to reflect product changes, regulatory updates and field feedback
- Measure: Content relevance score
- Recruit and onboard training consultants
- Actions: Participate in recruitment interviews; design and roll out the onboarding path; train new consultants on the catalog; certify their proficiency before they operate independently
- Measure: Number of consultants recruited and onboarded, average time to reach proficiency, certification pass rate
- Train and develop consultants’ skills
- Actions: Deliver initial and ongoing training sessions on client onboarding, e‑invoicing and the Pennylane ecosystem; organize best-practice sharing sessions; provide one-to-one coaching and field observations
- Measure: Number of training hours delivered to consultants, skills progression (assessment grid), session attendance rate
- Drive training performance and quality
- Actions: Monitor training KPIs; hold monthly 1:1s with each consultant; implement quality audits; observe training sessions
- Measure: Average training NPS, firm satisfaction rate (>90%), completion rates, number of quality audits performed per quarter
- Develop and deploy e‑invoicing expertise
- Actions: Become the internal subject matter expert on e‑invoicing; create tailored training programs for firms at different maturity levels; anticipate regulatory changes; support firms through their transition
- Measure: Number of firms trained on e‑invoicing, post-training adoption rate of the feature, satisfaction level for this specific module
- Plan and coordinate training sessions
- Actions: Manage the overall schedule of trainings booked by project managers; assign sessions to consultants based on availability and expertise; optimize team workload; make trade-offs in case of overload or unavailability; ensure continuity of service
- Measure: Fill rate of scheduled sessions, average time from booking to delivery, training cancellation/postponement rate, workload balance among consultants
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Pennylane teams
- Actions: Coordinate with Product, Sales, Customer Success and Partner Success; align training content with the product roadmap; share field insights; participate in cross-team rituals
- Measure: Number of cross-functional projects completed, participation rate in alignment meetings
- Lead and unite the team of training consultants
- Actions: Organize regular team meetings (weekly/monthly); foster a collaborative dynamic; act as the primary point of contact; develop shared tools and resources; celebrate successes
- Measure: Consultant engagement rate, consultant retention rate, frequency of team rituals, team eNPS
Requirements
- Candidate profile
- Technical and domain expertise:
- Deep mastery of Pennylane: A strong technical knowledge of the product is essential. We are looking for someone who can go beyond introductory training to cover advanced use cases and complex problems.
- Knowledge of accounting firms’ ecosystem: A detailed understanding of the challenges, workflows and developments within partner accounting firms is crucial to create relevant, tailored content.
- Forward-looking vision: Ability to anticipate firms’ future needs and continuously adapt our training offering accordingly.
- Pedagogical and interpersonal skills:
- Teaching excellence: Proven ability to convey complex technical knowledge to accounting staff, adapting the message to different levels of expertise.
- Digital proficiency: Comfort with videoconferencing tools and remote facilitation techniques to deliver engaging, impactful training.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Ability to work in close partnership with the various teams within the Partner Success function and beyond.
- Managerial dimension:
- Managing external consultants: Experience managing and coordinating external training providers.
- Building partnerships: Ability to create and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with our partner firms.
- E‑invoicing: Strong knowledge of the regulatory framework and the ability to explain this technical topic in simple terms.
- Nice to have
- Experience with Pennylane or B2B SaaS in a scale-up
- Certification in instructional design
- Experience in Customer Success or sales
