About the role
- Manage and track all IT‑related expenses, including software subscriptions, hardware purchases, vendor invoices, and recurring service fees
- Review, approve, and reconcile IT invoices and expenses to ensure accuracy and budget compliance
- Maintain detailed records of IT spend and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual budget tracking
- Partner with IT leadership to prepare and monitor the IT budget, including forecasting and variance reporting
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities by analyzing usage, contracts, and vendor pricing, and recommend optimization strategies
- Serve as a primary point of contact for IT vendors related to billing, renewals, and contract administration
- Support IT leadership with reporting, documentation, and presentations related to budgets, expenses, and projects
- Proactively evaluate IT processes, tools, and services to identify inefficiencies or redundant costs
- Participate in special projects that improve IT operations or support broader organizational initiatives
Requirements
- Strong experience with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 tools
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
- Experience working in an IT or technology‑focused department (Preferred)
- Familiarity with IT vendors, software licensing models, and subscription management (Preferred)
- Experience supporting cost‑reduction or operational improvement initiatives (Preferred)
