About the role
- Lead and advance the organization’s wound care program across various settings
- Provide clinical leadership, provider education, and quality oversight
- Establish evidence‑based standards and protocols
- Mentor and oversee wound care providers and clinical staff
- Act as the escalation point for complex cases
- Ensure compliance with CMS and payer requirements
- Lead ongoing education on wound assessment and treatment
- Support development and scaling of wound programs across care settings
- Monitor wound care quality metrics and outcomes
Requirements
- Active clinical license (NP, PA, MD, DO) with strong wound care background
- Advanced wound care certification (WCC, CWCN, CWON, etc.) preferred
- Proven leadership experience in wound care services
- Expertise in wound care best practices, documentation, and regulatory standards
- Experience with EMRs and clinical workflows
- Strong teaching, mentoring, and communication skills
- Experience supporting coding, billing, and revenue integrity preferred.
