About the role
- 24/7 monitoring of all bets and prices across all sports, within KPI’s that align with the company's overall goals
- Constant focus on bet flow, taking action in line with departmental guidelines
- Monitoring betting lines and reacting immediately to industry movements
- Identifying relevant bets to assess expected value
- Recognizing betting patterns that deviate from expected behaviour
- Monitoring market liabilities in real time
- Quickly grading markets to maintain rapid and efficient cashflow
- Working with trading teams to deliver a profitable, competitive product for every sporting event
- Communicating with customer‑facing teams to support patron satisfaction and escalating issues for fast resolution
- Using internal tools to assess individual bet and patron value, implementing measures to increase trading hold %
- Ensuring trading products and processes remain fully compliant
- Adapting to changes in providers, processes, and market trends
- Daily reporting to Key Stakeholders in the business
- Creating and executing reports using SQL, Python, Looker, Mode, and Tableau
- Monitoring and reporting on customer lifetime profitability
- Testing in‑house trading tools and daily‑use features
- Recommending new features and guiding them from concept to delivery with the product team
- Monitoring of multi-accounting and syndicate activity through retrospective pattern analysis to identify customers operating in coordination to exploit pricing inefficiencies
- Utilisation of customer risk data and internal tooling to prioritise and triage accounts for review, ensuring the highest-impact cases are actioned promptly
- Contributing to the developments of scalable customer risk frameworks that allow for efficient, consistent and commercially driven decision-making across the customer base.
- Reporting on the commercial impact of customer risk decisions, including GGR uplift from restrictions and trends in sharp customer volumes, to support wider trading strategy

Requirements
- Sports‑obsessed with strong, well‑rounded sports betting knowledge and a genuine interest in betting and odds
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in a trading environment (preferred, not required)
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BA) or equivalent in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Engineering, or Sciences
- Data‑obsessed with excellent mathematical skills
- Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving capability
- Able to multitask and perform effectively under pressure
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment and capable of making quick, informed decisions
- High attention to detail and commitment to precision
- Excellent time‑management skills
- Ability to learn quickly, operate independently, and collaborate within a team
- Quick to adopt and adapt to new technology
- Strong initiative and exceptional work ethic
- Able to work remotely
- Able to work regular evenings and weekends
