About the role
- Responsible for developing and maintaining solid business relationships for the purpose of driving company growth and profitability.
- Responsible for identifying and executing strategies for landing new business and retaining existing business.
- Supporting customer relationships, and for selling activities related to generating sales and reaching defined goals within an assigned territory(ies) and/or account(s).
- Provides the communication link between the customer, outside sales, and the company, such that the customer receives the full benefit of Pella’s products and services.
- Visits accounts to cement and manage relationships, provide trainings, and increase market share.
Requirements
- Associate's degree, Bachelor’s degree, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write reports and correspondence.
- Ability to effectively analyze and present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, clients or employees of the organization.
- Ability to make independent decisions to develop and further strategic business initiatives.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, margins, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to utilize judgment to solve problems.
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Web CenterPoint/Paradigm, PQM, Microsoft Teams, and Salesforce (CRM).
- Driver’s License.
