About the role
- Leads and executes the month-end close process
- Prepares financial reports, analyzes variances, and supplies management with timely and relevant financial analysis
- Assists in the execution of the audited financial statements and preparation of audit work papers
- Reviews, researches and explains variances to budget and forecasts
- Works with finance team members at manufacturing sites, sales subsidiaries, acquired subsidiaries, and Corporate functional areas
- Supports special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- BS/BA in Accounting or related field
- 3-6 years’ experience preferred
- CPA/CMA preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a constantly interrupting environment
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills
- Good public relations, public speaking, instructional/teaching, and customer service skills
- Ability to read, interpret, understand and explain documents such as processes and company reports
- Must be a team player and exhibit a strong desire to learn and promote self-growth
- Attention to administrative detail required
- Ability to solve practical problems without close supervision
