About the role
- Developing and maintaining solid business relationships for driving company growth and profitability
- Identifying and executing strategies for landing new business and retaining existing business
- Supporting customer relationships
- Selling activities related to generating sales and reaching defined goals within assigned territories and accounts
- Providing the communication link between the customer, outside sales, and the company
- Visiting accounts to cement and manage relationships, provide trainings, and increase market share
Requirements
- Associate's degree, Bachelor’s degree, and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write reports and correspondence
- Ability to effectively analyze and present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, clients, or employees of the organization
- Ability to make independent decisions to develop and further strategic business initiatives
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, margins, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to utilize judgment to solve problems
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SYMIX, Oracle, M20, PQM, Microsoft Teams, and SalesForce CRM
- Driver’s License
