About the role

  • Responsible for growing the revenue and usage of Pearson’s industry leading digital platforms
  • Create strategic plans focusing on winning new business, retaining, and upselling base business
  • Own the end-to-end sales process
  • Leverage internal teams to ensure customers are set up for long-term success with digital learning solutions
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to a team-based selling culture
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to problem solve & project manage
  • Research and identify potential customers through social selling, including cold calling, networking, and online research
  • Effectively communicate the Pearson value and how it can meet the customer's specific needs

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience with a track record of success within a managed sales territory
  • On-line literacy, experience and aptitude to work with new technologies
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, & emotional intelligence skills
  • Competitive desire to exceed goals and grow territory
  • Strong business planning and prospecting abilities
  • Able to work independently and is self-motivated
  • Willingness to travel
  • Valid driver’s license
