About the role
- Responsible for growing the revenue and usage of Pearson’s industry leading digital platforms
- Create strategic plans focusing on winning new business, retaining, and upselling base business
- Own the end-to-end sales process
- Leverage internal teams to ensure customers are set up for long-term success with digital learning solutions
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to a team-based selling culture
- Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to problem solve & project manage
- Research and identify potential customers through social selling, including cold calling, networking, and online research
- Effectively communicate the Pearson value and how it can meet the customer's specific needs
Requirements
- Previous sales experience with a track record of success within a managed sales territory
- On-line literacy, experience and aptitude to work with new technologies
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, & emotional intelligence skills
- Competitive desire to exceed goals and grow territory
- Strong business planning and prospecting abilities
- Able to work independently and is self-motivated
- Willingness to travel
- Valid driver’s license
