About the role

  • Manage appointment scheduling and calendar coordination for healthcare providers
  • Handle patient inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a professional manner
  • Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist with medical documentation, forms, and data entry
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other staff for smooth daily operations
  • Support telehealth appointments, including booking and basic coordination
  • Process administrative tasks such as referrals, billing support, and follow-ups
  • Ensure compliance with AU/NZ healthcare standards and privacy regulations

Requirements

  • 1 - 3 years of proven experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant, Medical Receptionist, or similar role
  • Experience working with AU or NZ healthcare systems or clinics is mandatory
  • Familiarity with tools such as Best Practice, Medical Director, HotDoc, or Halaxy is an advantage
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
  • Proficient in using CRM/EMR systems and general administrative tools
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely
