About the role

  • Oversee all aspects of the Information Technology function
  • Ensure smooth operation of hotel's computer systems, personal computers, and network infrastructure
  • Maintain IT systems across hotels within the region
  • Address helpdesk tickets
  • Manage technology installations and upgrades
  • Sustain the overall IT infrastructure
  • Report directly to the Director of IT
  • Provide day-to-day support for property information technology
  • Manage all IT during onboarding and offboarding of properties
  • Oversee contract management with third-party vendors
  • Responsible for inventory, maintenance, and documentation of all systems at property level
  • Maintain project work plans for implementing IT solutions
  • Assist in IT-related education programs and training for staff members
  • Ensure compliance with PCI, PII, GDPR, and brand standards
  • Maintain standard operating procedures and policies for IT at property level
  • Implement ongoing process improvement initiatives
  • Effectively handle complex situations or problems independently

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT System Administration and/or IT System Management
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel IT
  • Experience with maintaining Windows 10, Windows Server 2019, Office 365
  • Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS: OnQ, Opera, LightSpeed, etc.)
  • Experience with Point of Sale Systems (POS: Agilysys, Micros, Opera, etc.)
  • Experience with Mitel Prone Switches
  • Experience with Networking equipment
  • Basic understanding of internet protocols, SIP, (S)FTP, NTP, HTTP(S)
  • Demonstrated experience in the resolution of technical problems
  • Ability to navigate through rapid changes, flexibility, and imagination to adapt
