• Successfully build new features, and enhance existing Commerce features
• Design, build, and integrate technical requirements alongside the team across our full Commerce product portfolio
• Ensure secure, scalable, and compliant payment processing to our backend

Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack

Sales Development Rep

• Identify, research, and prospect new SME merchants in South Africa.
• Assist Sales Manager and conduct outreach through cold calling, emailing to generate interest.
• Run regular campaigns from Hubspot to warm up leads.
• Qualify leads by understanding business size, technical setup, and payment needs.
• Nurture relationships and set up discovery meetings for Sales Managers or close smaller deals directly.
• Maintain high activity levels daily to ensure a healthy pipeline.
• Own and grow a portfolio of SME merchants (500K - 1M), meeting acquisition and revenue growth targets.
• Assist any merchant under 500K that cannot go through the automation onboarding process due to pricing and other reasons.
• Answer Sales incoming calls and action.
• Execute tailored sales strategies for key verticals such as retail, hospitality, e-commerce, and education.
• Build strong relationships with merchants and partners, focusing on trust and long-term growth.
• Understand merchant technical needs (e-commerce integrations, APIs, payment options) and position Peach solutions effectively.
• Engage with Product, Marketing and Operations teams to support customer research and support.

• Daily management of all deals, across deal stages
• For our Enterprise Clients of a GMV of >R10million . 80% of your time will be spent on new acquisitions of merchants
• Be accountable for achieving ambitious targets in merchant acquisition and net revenue.
• Work directly with merchants to solve their payment challenges and assist in their growth.
• Along with the Head of Sales, you will develop the long-term vision and strategy for the team, managing day-to-day operations with a laser focus on performance against key sales metrics.
• Play a personal and direct role in building and maintaining enduring customer relationships, up to the C-level.
• Work collaboratively and cross-functionally across the organization to help shape Peach’s products and solutions to meet customer needs.
