About the role
- Proactively integrating security into new projects, systems, and network architectures to ensure compliance with our security policies and standards.
- Conducting comprehensive risk assessments on high-level designs (HLD), proposing and implementing effective mitigation measures.
- Analyzing network architectures , validating network segmentation, and reviewing firewall flows to guarantee that all technological solutions meet the highest security standards.
- Serving as a subject matter expert in network security, providing guidance and support to development and infrastructure teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Security or Electronic Engineering;
- At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on network security and security architecture ;
- Proven experience in managing internal and perimeter firewalls ;
- Demonstrated expertise in analyzing and validating security architectures to ensure compliance with established policies;
- Hands-on experience with Checkpoint Firewall is a great advantage ;
- Experience with other security tools and technologies is a plus;
- English (B2) proficiency;
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
