About the role

  • Serve as a trusted legal advisor to commercial, procurement, and operational teams
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a broad range of commercial agreements
  • Act as a strategic legal partner to Sales/Business Development, Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams
  • Provide practical, solution‑oriented legal advice
  • Maintain and continuously improve contract templates, playbooks, fallback positions, and negotiation guidelines
  • Support introduction and use of AI tools to drive speed, consistency and efficiency in legal contracting
  • Identify and escalate legal, regulatory, and commercial risks associated with contracts
  • Mentor junior attorneys and contract professionals, as applicable

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; eligible for in‑house practice
  • 6–10+ years of relevant legal experience
  • Significant experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts
  • Combination of law firm and in‑house experience preferred
  • Experience supporting sales/business development, procurement and operations teams in a regulated, multi‑site, or global organization preferred
  • Deep expertise in contract law and commercial negotiations
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate legal risk into practical guidance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Collaborative, pragmatic, and solutions‑focused approach
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and attention to detail
