About the role
- Develop and implement strategic plans for roaming and voice billing operations.
- Lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
- Oversee all aspects of roaming or voice billing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage credit risk and mitigate frauds.
- Implement best practices and technology solutions to enhance billing operations.
- Manage settlement agreements with vendors, handle & resolve disputes.
- Support cross-BU and network interconnect billings and settlement.
- Manage settlement operations and processes, initiate continuous improvement to streamline operations and optimize cost savings.
- Monitor financial performance and analyze billing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting.
- Work closely with internal departments (e.g., sales, Legal, Finance & IT) to align billing processes with AR and P& L targets.
- Build strong relationships with external partners and vendors to enhance cooperation and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to billing and settlement processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting roaming and voice services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Finance, Telecom or related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in telecommunications Finance, billing and settlement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with financial reporting and discrepancy resolution.
- Proficient in billing systems and telecommunications software.
- Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives and improve operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong decision-making capabilities and strategic thinking.
